Dear Parents, 

As we enter the fourth week of the new school year, our students are fully engaged  in their core curricula and enrichment subjects. Our primary focus, as required by  the city and district, remains on improving reading skills, with particular emphasis  on reading comprehension and writing. 

To help you better understand how we teach our English Language Arts (ELA)  curriculum and observe your child's classroom experience firsthand, we are hosting  an open school day on Friday, September 27. During this event, you will have the  opportunity to observe one lesson in your child's class. 

Please note the following guidelines: 

1. Adhere to the provided schedule for classroom observations. 
2. Do not visit classrooms outside of the scheduled times. 
3. To ensure uninterrupted and smooth lessons, please refrain from interacting with  your child or the teacher during the observation. 

If you have any questions or feedback after your visit, please schedule an  appointment with the teacher through the main office.
